DICE checked in at last might’s EA Play conference to show us some a new multiplayer map called Marita.
The new map will look to extend WWII campaign in Greece as Italy and Germany invaded the country in 1941. The map is a tightly packed hillside town so will offer something unique in terms of tactical gunplay and lots of close quarters combat. Marita is due out next month.
DICE are also bringing a North African desert map to Chapter 4, maps which were teased a few days ago such as Lofoten Islands, Provence and a reimagined Metro map in Operation Underground.
The developers finished off by teasing Chapter 5: Awakening the Giant, which will bring us to the Pacific Theater this fall. New weapons such as the classic M1 Garand and private servers are coming in September too.
