If you want a game that is literally as interesting as watching paint dry, then Arena Renovation will be right up your street. Furthermore, if you love a buggy mess that wipes your progress regularly, then you’ll want to invest in this glitchy mess. Unfortunately, no matter how many times I’ve tried, my progress has been halted by glitches and bugs. This enraged me, and every ounce of fun was wiped away.
FreeMind are the team that created this horrific mess. Originally, it was released on PC, and I believe it was well received. Disappointingly, it is badly ported, and you will be left wanting. A poor UI, slow action, and mindless gameplay undermine every positive.
Arena Renovation should have been good.
This simulation experience has no story, but who cares? I certainly didn’t, and all I wanted was to clean, rebuild, and refurbish every sports arena I encountered. Though this is evident in every level, the action is so mind-numbingly dull that I wanted to headbutt a wall.
Theoretically, it should have been great. After all, House Flipper, Powerwash Simulator, and Castle Flipper were enjoyable. Arena Renovation misses the mark by a country mile! The result is a tepid title that begs to be uninstalled immediately.

The good, the bad, and the buggy.
When things are going well, you’ll enjoy removing waste and cleaning graffiti. Moreover, there are side quests to complete, walls to paint, and ceilings to skim. Additionally, you must buy furniture and make every location sparkle.
As you work, you’ll earn cash and XP. The cash is spent on furniture and new arenas. The XP increases your character level and skills. In return, you work faster and harder. This removes the grind and makes each level a joy to play.
Unfortunately, there is a bug that wipes your cash, XP, and save. To say this is strange is an understatement. Moving from one arena to another wipes everything and destroys your morale. This is a major flaw and something that needs to be ironed out as a priority.

Arena Renovation sounds and looks rough.
Flawed action, a lack of depth, and mind-numbing gameplay can be forgiven if things are nicely polished. Guess what? Well, Arena Renovation sounds and looks awful! The textures are rough, and the render distance is woeful. Moreover, the sound effects lack realism, and it is a painful mess.
Sadly, the controls are equally poor. The UI is subpar, and navigating key elements is a tedious task. This impacts replay value and your desire to come back for more. Consequently, you’ll want to uninstall it almost immediately.
Arena Renovation is a terrible addition to the genre.
Renovation simulation games are an amazing experience. They are relaxing, fun, and addictive. Arena Renovation is anything but! It is dull, broken, and tedious. Accordingly, I recommend avoiding it like the plague. For more details, click this link to visit the Xbox Store.
