Further development of the series with new features
The focus continues to be on authentic work in public transport. Players take responsibility for passengers, schedules and operational procedures as they plan and execute their routes through a believable urban environment.
City Transport Simulator 2026 will be released in two editions. The Starter Edition at a price of €39.99 allows players to drive buses and trams and includes the MAN Lion’s City A21 (two- and three-door), the NL205 as well as the MAN Lion’s City A23 articulated bus as a 3 and 4-door model and the NG235. The range of vehicles is supplemented by the ULF A1 & B1 trams and the R2.2b.
The Expert Edition for €59.99 contains all the contents of the Starter Edition and expands it with additional vehicles such as the MAN New Lion’s City 12C and the MAN New Lion’s City 18C and 19C articulated buses. It also includes other trams, including the Flexity Vienna and the StadtRegioTram, the Tram & Bus Depot including South-Route DLC and the “Basel Style” cosmetic pack.
Owners of the Starter Edition can upgrade to the Expert Edition via the CTS 2026 Expert Upgrade Pack for €29.99.
An important expansion is the new Citybus C2, which will be available as an additional DLC under the title at a price of €19.99. The package expands the existing fleet with a total of four new bus variants. These include the Citybus C2 Solobus in a two- and three-door version, as well as the Citybus C2G articulated bus, which can be used as both a three- and four-door version.
Particularly important: Owners of City Transport Simulator: Bus will receive City Transport Simulator 2026 as a free update. Existing content can still be used and will be seamlessly transferred to the new version. At the same time, the title is also deliberately aimed at new players who want to join the series for the first time.

City Transport Simulator 2026 will be released on April 14 for PC as well as for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
