Welcoming Ethan to this shadowy European village is a variety of mutant lords who each control a different aspect of the village. There’s the giant hammer wielding Karl Heisenberg; the towering, yet alluring Alcina Dimistrescu and her three daughters; the grotesque half man, half fish Salvatore Moreau; and the creepy Donna Benefiento who is accompanied by an equally creepy puppet named Angie (no thanks). Managing all these lords is the mysterious Mother Miranda, ruler of the village and worshipped by all who reside there.
The wildcard here is Chris Redfield, typically a hero in the Resident Evil series, but everything we’ve seen about him so far suggests he has some sinister motives in Resident Evil Village. We’ll just have to take a trip to this snow-covered village to help Ethan find the answers he seeks.
Powering this horror fest is the incredible RE Engine that when paired with an Xbox Series X|S will deliver hyper-realistic graphics and raytracing, bringing the mysterious village and its citizens to life.
