Ubisoft announced the first details of Year 2 content for The Crew Motorfest, with the addition of a whole new playground for all players to discover: the stunning volcanic island of Maui. Players eager to engage in high-speed chases were also given a glimpse of Season 5 promising premium PVE content: “The Chase Squad”.

The first year of Hawaiian festivities has brought players with a variety of high-octane updates, for all to enjoy. With the last Year 1 season update coming on July 3rd, players will get to side in the “Donk vs Lowrider” playlist and embrace the customization frenzy. Starting on June 12th, car manufacturers Abarth, Alfa Romeo and Lancia will join the festival with 17 new vehicles, with the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale (1968) available as a Twitch Drop Reward during the conference.

At the launch of Season 5, in November 2024, all players will be able to roam the captivating island of Maui for free, adding over 100km² of pure on and off-roading fun. They will get to explore new landscapes, experience the pulsating life of Kahului’s cityscape, journey through the majestic vistas of Haleakalā National Park with its enchanting bamboo groves, and cross the legendary Ohe’o Gulch Sacred Pools, adorned with their mesmerizing waterfalls. Maui calls, with a promise of boundless discovery and thrilling motorized adventures.

In this new scenery, the festival is buzzing with a novel twist on automotive thrills, as seen in “The Hound” trailer scored by French darksynth artist Carpenter Brut. Gone are the days when racing was just a dash to the finish line! Introducing “The Chase Squad”: a premium PvE experience featuring a team of elite drivers whose primary mission is to shake up the conventional race scene and take down their rivals. Players will get to join the Squad and learn to master the art of the Chase. They will engage into a high-octane quest to track, outsmart, and outmaneuver urban racing rivals in face-offs across the islands, through nocturnal pursuits that will challenge their mettle and stretch their skills to the maximum.

Season 5 will also sign the return of fan-favorite playlist “Made in Japan”, with Volume 2 offering brand-new neon races, events and locations. Players will get to learn more information about it during the next The Crew Showcase in September 2024, along with news about the Chase Squad experience, future Year 2 content and seasons.
