As Xbox improve the user experience and provide brand-new features based on your feedback, Team Xbox is eager to keep finding new ways to make Xbox better, with you at the core of our efforts. The update for this month adds a few more options for you to interact and play with your friends and communities, including the ability to launch a game from a friend’s shared game clip or screenshot on mobile and PC as well as party chat noise suppression for Xbox Series X|S consoles.

Party Chat Noise Suppression

On your Xbox Series X|S console, you can experience less disruptive noise and interruption if you use party chat. Sounds cancellation makes your parties quieter by eliminating background noise, breathing noise, and controller clicks.

You can also turn off noise suppression if you wish to keep some background noise, such as music, in your gatherings. Simply open the user manual, navigate to Parties & conversations, then click Options. You can turn on or off noise suppression there. We’re thrilled that this functionality is already available on Xbox Series X|S and that it will soon be available on more devices.

Access games from your friends’ shared captures on mobile and PC straight away

With link sharing, which was introduced late last year, millions of Xbox gamers may send game clips and screenshots to their friends. Now that cloud gaming is available, the friends you share your game clips and screenshots with can play the games you’ve captured as soon as they download them to their device. (For cloud gaming, some titles require Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.)

The next time a buddy shares an amazing moment from their favourite game, like Forza Horizon 5, simply press “Play” to begin watching the video straight away on a browser.
