If you want to be grossed out while playing a mobile phone-style game, Foot Clinic is the title for you. Dead skin, rotting toes, misaligned bones, and much more await you as you make every client happy.

QubicGames has developed this simple but oddly addictive experience. It is a single-player game that takes around an hour to complete. Accordingly, it lacks depth, but it’s perfect if you want an easy completion.

Foot Clinic is all about the action.

Unsurprisingly, Foot Clinic tells no story. After all, I’m not sure the tale of two podiatrists going head to head would be that captivating. Instead, it is the unsanitary action that sits at the fore.

The gameplay revolves around a day-by-day cycle. As you progress, you’ll unlock new ailments and new tools to rectify the situation. Furthermore, there are different skins to add some meat to the bone.

Pus-filled ulcers, fungi-riddled toes, odd-shaped bones, dry skin, tattoos, and nail clipping are a must if you wish to make it as a foot specialist. None of these tasks is complicated, and the action was mindless as a consequence.

Foot Clinic delivers a colourful experience.

Visually, Foot Clinic is pretty basic. The character models are rough, and the backdrop is pretty bland. However, working on each foot has some degree of detail, and I liked each unique problem. What was strange, though, was the ever-changing character models. This lack of continuity was strange and should have been avoided. The audio was pretty simple, but effective. The music was calm, and the sound effects represented each tool you used.

The controls are as straightforward as they get. The basic UI and rudimentary control system ensure that anyone can become a foot technician. There is some replay value if you want to upgrade your clinic and unlock every skin. However, it is pretty pointless, and once you unlock every achievement, you’ll probably stop playing.

Foot Clinic is fun despite its length and depth.

Foot Clinic is enjoyable, despite its brief playtime and limited depth. Although this is likely to be overlooked, it was colourful, casual, and nice for a bit of mindless action. Accordingly, I recommend getting a copy from the Xbox store!
