The apocalyptic universe of AMC’s The Walking Dead is heading back to classic arcade roots. TRAILMARK Games and AMC Global Media have officially announced that The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival—a single-player side-scrolling beat-’em-up – will launch on September 18, 2026.
The title will be available on Xbox Series X|S. Digital pre-orders opened today alongside a new release date trailer highlighting the title’s combo mechanics and gore-soaked action.
Developed as a fast-paced brawler, The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival reimagines the television show’s iconic “All-Out War” narrative. Players fight through armies of walkers and dangerous human factions like Negan’s Saviors across familiar locations, including Hilltop, Alexandria, and the Sanctuary.
The core combat combines brutal close-quarters strikes with crowd-clearing ranged options, testing players through multi-phase boss encounters. Signature threats like Winslow, the Well Walker, Simon, and Negan himself serve as major milestone battles throughout the campaign.
