There’s always a lot of negativity on the internet, it’s the internet after all. So I wanted to slap a little something together, something a bit more positive and run through what I’ve been enjoying and shout out some great people within the gaming community!

The Complete Xbox Podcast

Of course, I’ll start with our very own World Famous Complete Xbox Podcast. Hosted by our lovely Duncan Voice and Odhran Johnson these guys round up all the goings on here at CompleteXbox and keep you up to date with the reviews and news we have on our site, as well as talk about the latest games they’ve been playing for their book club talk. I’ve guested a couple of times now and it’s always a good laugh, so hopefully it’s a good listen too! There’s zero negativity and good vibes all around until Odhran starts calling me names that is. You can catch our podcast on Spotify here! (Don’t forget to rate us five stars, ta!)

Q&ASA – GameOn Daily

Asa Walker is one half of the Game-On Daily duo with the other half being Gaz, although he isn’t involved with Asa’s Thursday shows at 9pm, so these actually start at 9pm. It’s a lovely and chilled chat about all things video games. Ask questions, get involved with the conversation, or just lurk, I’m sure Asa won’t mind. A very humble and enjoyable show, Asa’s one that keeps himself to himself and just enjoys the video games he’s been playing and talking about them with us lot, too. You can catch him every Thursday at 9pm on his YouTube channel which I wholeheartedly recommend as possibly one of my favourite gaming shows at the moment! You should also take a minute to check out the Game On Daily website which puts all the gaming news and related stuff in one place!

The Gaming Together Podcast

The Gaming Together Podcast is a podcast for those who have fond memories of couch cooperative sessions with their pals. Hosted by Nave and Phillip it’s a great listen and the structure of the podcast is great. Each week they pick a game to play together and then discuss it on the pod and then relay to us, the listeners whether it is the creme de la creme of co-op or something better off playing solo! No nonsense with these fellas, just straight-up GAMES! It’s structured well too because they just have a random ol’ chinwag for the first section so even if they’re playing something you don’t want spoiled, you don’t have to completely miss out on the episode! Great listen and a bloody good laugh. Having been my first-ever podcast appearance it was a pleasure. One of my favorite listens at the moment and I can’t recommend this podcast enough!

The Midweek Mixup Podcast

The Midweek Mixup Podcast is another good one. Nice chilled conversations about all things gaming with a great panel of creators and it doesn’t matter if I get called “Jaird” when I jump into the live chat. With multiple different shows throughout the week, there’s plenty on offer to tune into. Not only that but Dutch does great work with the Community Indie Showcase which is very much worth the watch if you’re a lover of indie games! Not forgetting the great work for the community, offering up a thread of different backgrounds ready to save and use on your Xbox, Dutch puts in the work. Great dudes, great conversations, you should definitely check out Midweek Mixup!

Frame-A-Game

You can surprisingly make some friends on this internet bollocks and Frame-A-Game is one of those friends. Whether he feels the same about me I’m not so sure, but I’ll be at the Frame-A-Game shrine in my bedroom whether he’s there or not! Maybe it’s his devilish good looks but if I’m being honest I think it’s because he’s a gamer at heart and he’s made a bloody good product. Putting games into frames? Who’d have thought about doing that huh? Not me… and I’m not salty about it either. I haven’t purchased Gears of War frames and a The Last of Us frame whatsoever, I’m strong-willed. You should definitely head over to his website and be a responsible adult and NOT buy anything…

Alongside Frame-A-Game, Kirk (yes, Kirk) also appears on the Grumpy Gamers Podcast where they’re all a bit, grumpy. You should be sure to check that out too!

Tweets Games Live

A true Twitter love story. Tweets Games Live is a group of gamers who all met on Twitter and love everything video games. All a bloody nice bunch of like-minded gamers who don’t have time for all that other nonsense and just wanna play some games! Consisting of 5 different streamers all with their own streams and choice of games, it won’t be long before Tweets Games Lives hopefully takes over your Twitch feeds! Davan, Ross, Ziggy, Molly, and Connor all bring their own style of streaming together to form Tweets Games Lives. Truly a positive bunch who just want to have a laugh, connect and play games. They’re sponsored by Frame-A-Game to boot, so it’s good folk all around! You can find all their links to their streams and goings on at their Twitter handles below, so go check them out!

Last But Not Least…

Shoutout to the Daddy-In-Chief here at Complete Xbox, Mr. Dave Law! I’ve had a blast so far being a part of the team and getting stuck in with some game reviews. I never thought I would be here in this position but, stranger things have happened! Dave’s a top bloke and an absolute joy to game with. He hosts two games nights every week; Racer Monday and Community Thursday. Everyone is welcome so if anyone ever wants to get involved, you know where we are! If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading, keep on gaming!
