Publisher The Private Division has announced that Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will arrive on Xbox One on 6th December.
The game has players control a lineage of primates and are tasked to ensure their survival in prehistoric Africa and continue to evolve as a species.
A big part of Ancestors is its environment, as you traverse the tree tops, make sure you don’t fall to your death and watch out for deadly creatures such as tigers on the floor level, who will eat you as prey. You’ll learn to adapt and evolve to avoid these threats as you progress.
Humankind Odyssey is being developed by Panache Digital Games, founded by Assassin’s Creed creator Patrice Désilets.
