Xbox and Windows Platform Director of Program Management Mike Ybarra has confirmed via a Twitter conversation with an Xbox fan that button mapping will be coming to all Xbox One controllers soon.
As it stands currently it is only the Xbox One Elite Controller that supported button mapping, but that will be changing.
Will you be shooting enemies with the A button?
This is actually incredible, for the people who do not plan to get the Elite Controller or are in a posisition not being able to get one, allowing all your consumers to remap thier controllers is a really good idea, it doesn’t leave anyone out and it doesn’t force you to buy the Elite Controller if you don’t want to, very good idea Microsoft!!!! 😛
