Physical versions will also be available on Nintendo Switch, PS5 and PS4 in limited numbers, 2900, 999 and 999 copies respectively. Pre-orders are now open on the official Red Art Games online store for €24.99.
It will also be possible to live the full sturmfront experience on PlayStation 5: Red Art Games will offer Sturmfront – The Mutant War: Übel Edition on Sony’s latest console on the same date. This new generation special edition will also be entitled to a limited physical release that will take advantage of the adaptive triggers of the DualSense. 1693. The war ravaged Europe as the France, led by its illustrious King Louis XIV, confronted the Grand Alliance. Known for his luxurious tastes and extravagant style, Louis XIV, better known as the Sun King, is driven by the conviction that the sun – HIS sun – must shine on all the peoples of the world. And even if his enemies are far too numerous to count, one of them stands out and appears to be the most dangerous of all.
This enemy is none other than his illegitimate son. Poisoned and left for dead, this bastard emerges from the smoke and ashes of the German battlefields under the identity of the “Moon King“. Driven by hatred, he appeals to sciences as forbidden as they are evil, in order to form an army such as the world has never seen since Satan’s rebellion.

Heidelberg 1693 is a full-bodied action platform game, set in a zombie-infested version of 17th century Germany. Here, the player embodies one of the famous musketeers of the French King, Louis XIV. The game brings a touch of tactics to the genre by introducing the musketeers’ weapon of choice: the musket. Players will have the opportunity to perform a very powerful, and effective, musket shot at a time. The weapon should however be used wisely due to its long reset time. The dark history of Heidelberg 1693, which depicts real places as well as historical figures, is told via multiple branches and endings.
