Develop Torn Banner Studios and publishers Tripwire Presents has confirmed that its medieval battle arena title Chivalry 2 will release on 8th June this year and will also include cross-play across all platforms.

The title which will be coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One has a brand new combat system built from scratch and includes new visuals and textures for its sequel in the series. Steve Piggott, Founder of Torn Banner said:

“Our dev team has been firing on all cylinders to create the best medieval combat game imaginable. Chivalry 2 is going to be everything fans of the first title dreamed of and so much more – from a combat system rebuilt from the ground up, to massive upgrades in scale and visuals.”

A cross-play Closed Beta is also set to take place from 26th to 29th March, offering the chance to take to the medieval battlefield early on and get to grips with the new combat system, a pinnacle feature of the Chivalry series.
