Alongside the recently-released EDM soundtrack, available on Spotify and Apple Music, Codemasters today releases the official EA SPORTS F1® 22 Original Game Soundtrack composed by Ian Livingstone. A special recording of the hero track, ‘A New Dawn’, can be viewed below. The soundtrack, which also includes the F1® 2021 score, is available to stream now via Spotify, Deezer, and Apple Music.
Ian Livingstone is synonymous with Codemasters and the F1® soundtrack, having composed six previous F1® titles. The F1® 22, the soundtrack features the Sofia Session Orchestra, recorded by FourForMusic, and conducted by George Strezov.
Commenting on the Original Soundtrack, composer Ian Livingstone said: “I was keen to capture the elegance, sophistication and beauty of these gleaming new machines by giving them the voice of sweeping orchestral strings, but also to show the contrast between the calm before the storm vs the exhilaration and drama of the final lap. At the same time, I wanted to reward the long-time F1 players by reprising fragments of my previous themes – notably F1 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2021.”
