Modus Games has announced the release of a demo for their upcoming JRPG, Cris Tales. The demo is now available on Xbox Marketplace.
The demo of the upcoming love letter to the traditional JRPG games will let players experience the beginning of Crisbell’s journey. Players will be able to test out the protagonist’s powers to see the past, present and future simultaneously.
Additionally, the demo showcases the game’s Colosseum mode, where players will work with party-member Wilhelm to take on eight waves of battles that will increase in difficulty every round, ending in a mini-boss fight and giving players a small glimpse of the full mode they’ll encounter at launch.
The demo also launches on Colombian Independence Day and players will be able to see the Columbian inspiration first-hand in the architecture, culture, and even character design of the game seeing as the developers infused their personal connections with Colombia into the game itself.
