Publisher JanduSoft and solo developer K148 Game Studio have officially announced that their upcoming dark extraction title, E.S.D.E., will launch on December 3, 2026. The high-stakes horror game will be available on Xbox
Set in a grim world where humanity stands on the brink of extinction, E.S.D.E. immerses players in a post-apocalyptic reality where most of the human population has vanished. Those who remain have mutated into soulless “anomalies” – terrifying, unpredictable creatures that pose a constant threat to survivors.
In E.S.D.E., players embark on high-risk expeditions across six distinct zones, including sprawling apartment complexes and abandoned schools. The core objective focuses on scavenging valuable items from these perilous ruins to sell to merchants, funding future runs and equipment upgrades.
Key gameplay features include:
- Six Diverse Exploration Zones: Scavenge through haunted, urban environments filled with valuable loot.
- Seven Unique Anomaly Types: Encounter distinct enemy variants, each exhibiting unique behaviours, patterns, and hunting mechanics.
- Essential Stealth Mechanics: A critical protective mask mechanic allows players to evade detection when anomalies lurk nearby.
“Every expedition is a gamble where one mistake could be your last,” the developers noted. Players will spend the majority of their journeys isolated, relying on environmental awareness and quick decision-making to survive, adapt to emerging threats, and extract successfully.
E.S.D.E. will be available digitally on Xbox Series X/S on December 3.
