Welcome to another edition of Dave’s X Life – your behind-the-scenes guide to what’s been happeing across my Xbox landscape, my Twitch streams, our amazing community nights, and the incredible indie developers we spotlight. It’s a place where you get a full flavour of what I’m playing, what I’m loving, and why gaming is more than just a pastime—it’s a lifestyle, a community, and a release.
If you’re new here, I’m Dave, CX Dave, Mr Copperpot and xChesterCopperpotx – gamer, streamer, Xbox enthusiast, community builder, and proud son of Essex. My streams blend high-octane racing, pirating and much more with the chill of a morning cuppa, served with a hearty helping of local facts, banter, and appreciation for games and the people behind them.
With that out of the way, let’s dive into what’s been happening this month.
What I’ve Been Playing Lately
The beauty of being embedded in the Xbox ecosystem is how much variety there is. Whether it’s trying out hidden gems from ID@Xbox or pushing the limits of triple-A titles, there’s always something new and exciting to dig into.
Sea of Thieves
There’s something special about Sea of Thieves. I keep returning to it like a digital comfort food. The sandbox chaos, the rolling waves, and the sheer unpredictability of a voyage keep things fresh every time. One moment you’re digging up treasure and trading loot at an outpost, the next you’re fending off a galleon full of rivals.
I’ve especially been enjoying solo sloop sessions lately—sailing into the sunrise, mug of tea in hand, talking to chat about local Essex history. The sea is serene, but the moment something kicks off, it’s all hands on deck. The thrill of escaping a kraken or a surprise PvP attack is second to none.
And speaking of hands-on decks…
F1 25
This is easily the most played game on my stream right now, and for good reason. F1 25 is sharp. It’s polished. And it’s absolutely relentless in the best way. Every lap feels like a meditation. Every qualifying session is a personal duel with the stopwatch.
I’ve been streaming early morning races, and it’s become part of a ritual: get the kettle on, settle into the rig, talk tyres and setups with the chat, and hit the track. The new physics system rewards finesse. One wrong turn, and you’re facing the wrong way at Maggotts and Becketts. But when you nail a clean lap? Magic.
If you’re looking for in-depth racing analysis mixed with Essex humour and early-morning vibes, this is the stream to catch.
Hundred Bullets (Spotlight Feature)
More on this one later – but let’s just say, it’s not your average shoot-em-up. It’s a game that forces you to survive yourself.
CarX Street
If Forza is the polished, glossy motorsport experience, CarX Street is its rebellious cousin. It’s gritty, it’s fast, and the tuning is absolutely brilliant. The game lets you dig into camber angles, boost pressure, differential behaviour – it’s catnip for car nerds. And it looks beautiful on Series X.
I’ve been doing late-night drift runs through neon-soaked streets, and honestly, I haven’t had this much fun with car customisation since Need for Speed Underground 2.
Forza Motorsport & Forza Horizon 5
The yin and yang of Xbox racing. Motorsport is tight, structured, and technical. Horizon is wild, creative, and joyful. Whether I’m setting lap records or smashing billboards in a 1000hp monster truck, these two games offer the best of both worlds.
And thanks to the CompleteXbox community, both feature heavily in our Monday night races. More on that below.
Developer Spotlight: Hundred Bullets by Silverware Games
At CompleteXbox, we’re passionate about highlighting the developers behind the games. The people turning late nights, big ideas, and limited resources into the unforgettable moments we experience on screen. Our latest spotlight is on a title that redefines what a shoot-‘‘em-up can be: Hundred Bullets.
Genre Flip: SHMUP Meets Puzzle
On the surface, Hundred Bullets looks like a minimalistic twin-stick shooter. But within minutes, it reveals itself to be something entirely different. Here’s the premise:
You fire 100 bullets into an arena. Then you have to dodge every one of them as they bounce, ricochet, and threaten to tear you apart. There are no enemies. Just you, your memory, and your mistakes.
It’s part bullet hell, part puzzle box, and 100% brilliant.
A Game That Punishes Impulse and Rewards Planning
You start each level by firing all your bullets. The second phase begins when you’re done shooting – now it’s time to survive.
The game trains you not just to play, but to think. You’re planning patterns, predicting ricochets, and building mazes you can survive in. When a plan works, it feels like solving a Rubik’s cube blindfolded. When it doesn’t, you’re scrambling to dodge your own demise.
Levels progress in complexity with diabolical glee: narrow corridors, circular traps, and multi-tier arenas that demand spatial awareness and nerves of steel.
Minimalism With Purpose
From a visual standpoint, the game is stark. Clean lines, high contrast, no unnecessary clutter. That’s by design. You don’t need distraction when 87 bullets are pinging around your character like angry hornets.
The soundtrack is ambient and rhythmic. Less about adrenaline and more about concentration. It keeps you grounded while your screen fills with death.
Built With Love: Silverware Games
Silverware Games is helmed by Michael Silverman, a dev who believes games can be joyful, clever, and community-focused. Their values are rooted in:
- Fun: Games should make you smile.
- Imagination: Expect the unexpected.
- People: Create with and for real communities.
Their work on Hundred Bullets shows how a small team with a big idea can reinvent a genre. It doesn’t overstay its welcome, but leaves you thinking long after the console is off. Buy game

Community Nights: Play Together, Laugh Together
One of the best parts of CompleteXbox is the community. Our Discord is lively, supportive, and filled with people who just love games. No drama. No gatekeeping. Just shared enthusiasm and lots of laughs.
Here’s how we’ve been bringing the fun:
Racer Mondays – 20:30 BST
Got a need for speed? Monday nights are all about racing, whether you’re a podium chaser or a proud backmarker.
We’ve recently been playing:
- Forza Motorsport – Proper racing lines, tyre strategies, and intense sim battles.
- Forza Horizon – Wild, weird, and often hilarious. One race we had six of us in monster trucks on ice. It went about as well as you’d imagine.
It’s competitive, but friendly. Come for the racing, stay for the jokes.
Thursday Night Mayhem – 20:30 BST
Thursdays are for blowing stuff up and causing chaos in multiplayer madness.
Recent highlights:
- Rainbow Six Siege X – Tactical coordination and those sweet 1v4 clutch moments.
- Wreckfest – Carnage. Pure, joyous carnage. If you can cross the finish line with four wheels and a bumper, you’re doing it wrong.
These sessions are open to all skill levels. If you’ve got Game Pass or a free-to-play title installed, you’re in.
Fuel Your Morning Right with Twitch and Tea
One of my favourite things about streaming is how it’s become part of people’s morning routines. Whether you’re sipping your own tea or lurking in chat while waking up, I stream most weekdays at 06:30 BST.
And it wouldn’t be morning without a brew. Massive shoutout to the Essex Tea & Coffee Company for keeping my mug full and my streams flavourful.
These streams are about more than just gameplay:
- We chat about local Essex spots and quirky trivia.
- We reflect on game design, mechanics, and hidden details.
- And we just have a bloody good laugh while playing our favourites.

Final Thoughts: Games, Community, and Why It Matters
What we’re building with CompleteXbox isn’t just another gaming website, discord or another gaming community. It’s a celebration of everything that makes this hobby great:
- The magic of a game mechanic that just clicks.
- The thrill of a last-lap overtake.
- The surprise joy of a hidden indie gem.
- The warmth of community.
Every stream, every article, every Thursday night demolition derby is about connecting people. Gaming is better when it’s shared. Whether you’re a longtime follower or brand new to the fold, there’s a place for you here.
Thanks for checking in to the episode of Dave’s X Life. Here’s to more games, more community, and more reasons to get up early and race into the day.
Now go make a cuppa and hit that follow button. See you on the track – or the seas – or maybe dodging a hundred bullets of your own making.
