Codemasters® and Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) today released the first in a series of content featuring Spanish Formula 1® driver Carlos Sainz, as part of the F1® 2021 official videogame campaign. In the video, Carlos invites viewers to ‘discover the talent inside them’ as he takes an all-terrain buggy around the stunning Spanish mountains. Filmed from the perspective of Sainz as a gamer and go-kart racer in his childhood through to present day, Carlos demonstrates his desire to keep pushing to the limit in his pursuit of becoming a Formula 1® World Champion.

 

Following his move to Ferrari this season, Carlos Sainz has been instrumental in helping the team secure third place in the F1® Constructor Championship as their leading points scorer. Carlos finished the season with a personal-best four podiums, scoring points in 20 of the 22 races. He was also the only driver on the grid to finish every race he started.

F1® 2021, boasts several new features, including the thrilling new story mode, ‘Braking Point’, an expanded Career mode enabling two players to come together and race, and Real-Season Start with the option to jump into the championship at any point that has already occurred, adopting the real-time driver and constructor standings.
