Dorfromantik was created by Toukana Interactive in 2021 as a PC game. As the majority of the development team is currently working on their new title Star Birds, the studio has been looking for strong collaborations to realize their ambitious vision for a mobile version of Dorfromantik. With the porting announcement come two new partnerships: Clockstone Studio from Austria will function as porting studio for the Dorfromantik mobile edition. Headup Games takes over the publisher coordination for mobile and console, as well as the in-house development for the Playstation and Xbox version.
What is Dorfromantik?
Dorfromantik is a peaceful building strategy and puzzle game where players create a beautiful and ever-growing village landscape by placing tiles. In Dorfromantik, you explore a variety of colorful biomes, discover and unlock new tiles and complete quests to fill the world with life.
A Nintendo Switch version of Dorfromantik was released back in 2022. A board game adaptation of the relaxing building game followed in the same year in collaboration with Pegasus Spiele, and quickly became very popular with families and game lovers.
