As a result of the recent postponement of the UEFA EURO 2020 tournament, which will now be hosted in 2021, Konami has announced that the upcoming UEFA EURO 2020 downloadable content for eFootball PES 2020 has been delayed until further notice.
The add-on was originally due for release on 30th April, but with COVID-19 putting a stop to the majority of sporting events, the tournament will now be played next year with PES likely to pick it up then.
Konami has also made the decision to cancel plans to release a physical version of eFootball PES 2020 with a UEFA EURO 2020 cover. However, anyone who currently owns or is looking to purchase eFootball PES 2020 will still be able to enjoy the free update for Xbox One when it is released through an upcoming Data Pack.
