Acclaimed ‘Golf-Like’ spices up roguelite loop, otherworldly ACE CARDS, and brilliant bosses with game-changing Golf Pins

Thunderful and Chuhai Labs are pleased to announce that a free game-changing update for their acclaimed roguelite golf adventure, Cursed to Golf, launches today on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch and is already available on Steam. The free Golf Pins update shakes up the genre-twisting 2D roguelite golfer with magical Golf Pins that let you tee-off with special powers, or customise your experience, adding to the game’s roster of outlandish special abilities, diverse biomes, challenging bosses and a soundtrack that slaps harder than any heard in a golf game before.

The Golf Pins update allows you to equip up to three Golf Pins at a time. With over 50 variations and powers, you can customise your experience to suit you. Equip the “Destroy All Idols” Pin to give yourself more shots, tee-off with a special power Pin like the “Tee-Off Rocketball”, or give yourself another chance after failing a tricky hole with the “Last Chance” pin that allows you to rewind and pretend nothing happened.

What critics are saying:

“One of the best golf games ever made” – 9/10, GameSpot
“One of the best indie games of the year” – Forbes
“Cursed to Golf is a stroke of genius” – 10/10, VGC

By combining the Pins that suit you, Cursed to Golf can make Golf Purgatory just a little more forgiving if you’re looking for a more approachable experience. On the other hand, there are Golf Pins that help to make things more hellish, offering seasoned players a way of making the game even more challenging! Head to your local Eterni-Tee in-game and check out the huge variety of Pins on offer yourself!

In Cursed To Golf, you step into the (golf) shoes of a would-be golf champion who tragically dies just as he’s about to win a tournament. Instead of making it to heaven (or hell), you find yourself in Golf Purgatory. If you can golf your way through the ever-changing 18 hole course spread across four biomes (Purgatory, The Oasis, The Caverns and Hell), you’ll be able to ascend back to life. Prepare for dungeon-like holes, often with multiple paths to the flag, littered with Grave Grabbers, deadly spikes, explosive TNT boxes and all manner of other traps and hazards.
