Publisher 4Divinity and developer Eschatology Entertainment have announced that their upcoming Western Soulslike first-person shooter, Guns of Eschaton, will launch on December 8, 2026. The release date was confirmed alongside a new trailer unveiled at the Galaxies Showcase.

The game drops players into a fictional, apocalyptic 19th-century American frontier shaped by the distinct art direction of creative visionary Viktor Antonov. Blending traditional Old West tropes with occult horror, mythology, and the supernatural, the title asks players to navigate ruined settlements and deadly wastelands as a mysterious gunslinger.

Combat is designed around high-stakes, deliberate mechanics that fuse precision first-person shooting with Soulslike philosophy. Players will need to manage scarce resources, study enemy weaknesses, master precise timing and parries, and experiment with a deep character progression system featuring customizable builds, firearms, and occult abilities. Designed to be experienced either as a solo test of mastery or alongside an ally in two-player cooperative play, Guns of Eschaton will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
