Norway-based developer Perfectly Paranormal has released their body desecration puzzle-platformer Helheim Hassle on Xbox One.

Helheim Hassle is a comedic yet macabre narrative adventure game set in the same universe as Manual Samuel and is about friendship and body parts.

Players will play as Bjørn, a pacifist Viking who dislikes dying and being forced to go to Valhalla. Bjorn looks to negotiate a way out while helping the mysterious Pesto on a quest to retrieve a certain magical item. If successful, Pesto will grant permanent residency to Bjorn in Helheim.

The game will feature 70 quests across 14 levels. Each quest will require different usage of Bjorn’s various body parts to solve the game’s unique puzzle-platforming challenges.

Ozan Drosdal, Creative Lead at Perfectly Paranormal, said:

Woohoo! Helheim Hassle is out, finally! This has been the weirdest year we’ve ever had and with the next game in the Tuesday Trilogy, things are about to get a whole lot weirder, (…) Helheim Hassle takes the wackiness of Manual Samuel and adds a whole load more gameplay, puzzles and story – we think ya’ll are gonna love it.
