After the announcement of LEGO Dimensions, everyone got a bit excited about the LEGO sets that will release off the back of the game’s upcoming release, well now Warner Bros. have confirmed more sets including Jurassic World, Scooby Doo, Ghostbusters and Midway Arcade with a new trailer.
Developed by TT Games, LEGO Dimensions will work in a similar fashion to Skylanders, allowing you to transport the real life LEGO sets into the game.
Other confirmed sets include DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, The LEGO Movie, The Wizard of Oz, Ninjago, The Simpsons, Doctor Who and Portal.
In-game instructions will show you how to build and rebuild each item, for access to different abilities each time. The example shown is the mini LEGO Batmobile included in the LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack that enables players to activate accelerator switches. Reassemble the Batmobile, and you can smash sonar bricks with the Sonar Smash or unleash a missile barrage using the LEGO Sonic Batray.
LEGO Dimensions looks pretty awesome and is out on 29th September for Xbox One.
