Welcome to Season of Arrivals in Destiny 2. Eyes up, Guardian.
Starting today, players can embark on a brand new Season in the game, including new activities to enjoy, new gear to pursue, and a new chapter of the ever-evolving narrative in the world of Destiny. Here are some highlights from this Season to look forward to:
A New Dungeon: Starting today, Guardians will be challenged with a new dungeon, Prophecy, available to all Destiny 2 players. Face the mystery and unlock the new Daito Foundry and reprised Trials of the Nine armour sets.
Decipher the Darkness: Throughout the Season, Messages of Darkness will be found on the planet Io. Journey to the Cradle on Io and uncover these hidden communications. A powerful weapon of your own making awaits.
Contact Public Event: Join your fellow Guardians in public events beneath the newly arrived Pyramid ship on Io, where an untapped power has summoned the enemies of humanity.
Choose Your Reward By focusing [REDACTED] Engrams in Season 11 you can choose your rewards. This includes the ability (once you’ve earned it) to Focus engrams so they only contain Season 11 armour with high-stat packages.
New Gear: Amazing new weapons await as you prepare to fend off the invasion of the Darkness. Season Pass owners will instantly unlock the new Witherhoard Exotic Grenade Launcher and Seasonal armour set.
Season of Arrivals begins today and there’s more amazing Destiny 2 fun to come. We’re excited to share that Destiny 2 will be coming to Xbox Series X and will run natively in 4K at 60fps. Thanks to Smart Delivery, everything you already own in Destiny 2 will come with you to Xbox Series X free of charge. Best of all, you don’t have to worry about busting up your friends list either, because we’re going to support intergenerational crossplay between Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
