Milestone has announced MXGP 2020; the latest entry in the official FIM Motocross World Championship. The game will be available on December 10th for Xbox One.
The game will feature 68 riders from both MXGP and MX2 categories across the 19 circuits of the 2020 season. Career mode will also have players begin their career as a rookie and decide whether to join a team or create their own.
MXGP 2020 will also feature a track editor with new features such as the Heightmaps feature which allows players to replicate the real MX tracks configurations, often built on hills and mountains, adding realism and all the challenges that real riders face. Players will be able to choose from 4 terrain types: Plain, Quarry, Vineyard, and Forest. Every map created can be shared online.
The Playground returns so players can put their skills to the test, with up to 3 friends, in the new setting inspired to Norwegian fjords terrains. Waypoint mode also returns and can be enjoyed with up to 4 players. Race Mode Director will let players create Online tournaments, deciding starting positions, assigning penalties or choosing the cameras to focus on.
MXGP 2020 will feature more than 10.000 customization items, all officially licensed from more than 110 brands of the Motocross world. With certain customization, bike performances can be also improved with real-life replica of different bike parts.
