During last Thursday’s Resident Evil Showcase, Capcom released a brand new trailer ahead of the game’s May 7th release. The newest trailer shows new elements (Ethan with a sniper) and new, smarter, enemies.
During the showcase event, it was also announced that the popular Mercernaries game mode will be returning with Village. Mercenaries is an additional game mode where players have to kill as many enemies as possible within a given time limt. They also added a few new features where players will be able to pick up additional power ups such as increased defense.
Capcom also announced a new Resident Evil Village timed demo for Xbox players which will be available the week before the game’s release (Editor’s note: What’s the point?).
