Microsoft has possibly revealed a new Xbox One controller out next month on its support page, which includes a 3.5mm headphone jack connector.
Everything else on the controller seems the same, so there’s no new layout to learn and your Play and Charge kit will still work with these new pads.
The traditional audio jack will offer greater access to the gaming headsets on the market, as most required the headset adapter plugged into the controller, in order to work.
It’s largely expected that this will be revealed at E3 and maybe now we’re onto hardware, could we see a new and improved system release too?
