‎‎Brave the elements, dangers of nature and fierce adversity for the first time on console‎

Catch the first rock that hangs around and jump into the fray! Publisher and developer Double Eleven ‎have announced the release of Rust Console Edition‎, on Xbox One. This is the first time that the very popular survival game is available outside of PC.‎‎This release is accompanied by a trailer that presents the brutal action in which console players will‎ finally be able to dive, if they have the courage:

Based on the famous PC version, Rust Console Edition was conceived as a separate experience optimized specifically for these new platforms, with the ability to play crossplay on Xbox and PlayStation. ‎

‎Rust’s principle is unstoppable: the player wakes up alone, armed with a pebble and equipped with a simple torch, on a mysterious island ravaged by an apocalypse, studded with enigmatic industrial monuments and inhabited by strange scientists. In this hostile open world where death lurks in every nook and cran kingdom, it’s up to you to find out how to survive among the hundred or so other desperate players, housed in the same sign.‎

‎So the primary goal is not to die. The player must tame his hunger and thirst, master the elements, create his clothes and ensure his safety in the face of hostility from other players, scientists, bears, wolves and other traps that are sure to ignite, drown or poison him at the slightest opportunity. Rust is a game without rules, which gives quite little indication on the way forward. Players are free to be aggressive or welcoming, wander around on the map or build their own barracks and opt for a more sedentary lifestyle. Of course, it is easier to survive many, especially when adversity is well organized. A small cahute hidden at the bottom of the woods can do the business of a lone wolf, when an elaborate group will build large metal buildings well protected and guarded. Finally, it is the ability to forge different weapons (remote, melee, fire, bombs, traps…) and handle them brilliantly that will make the difference between the survivors and others.‎

‎Since its release in Early Access on Steam in 2013, millions of players have populated the dense and brutal world of Rust, a true social experiment that has become one of the most played titles of the Valve platform. Over the months, the game has established itself as a mind-boggling theatre of experimentation and creativity, distinguishing itself from the competition thanks to its keen sense of detail, its intrinsic richness and the variety of its gameplay, whose fierce and demanding battles are the figurehead.‎
