As we are a site for Xbox news, it is very rare that we cover anything in regards to the other consoles. In this case however, it involves an Xbox game headed over to the Nintendo Switch, with both Xbox Live support and achievements accompanying it.
Ori and The Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will arrive on the Switch on September 27th and the games director, Thomas Mahler, has confirmed via a post on RestEra that the game will have both Xbox Live Support and Achievements.
This is not the first time this link has happened between Xbox and Nintendo. Cuphead, which has now launched on the Switch, has talked of integrating Xbox Live Support and has in game Achievement system, with the Achievement’s being ported over from the Xbox version.
