Xbox is gearing up for another Partner Preview this Thursday, 17th October , and we’re excited to see what’s in store. With a tight 25-minute runtime and over a dozen trailers, this event promises to cut right to the heart of what we all want—new games. Xbox has become known for these focused previews, and the latest installment looks like it’s going to bring a lot of heat.
The spotlight will be on three major titles, starting with Alan Wake 2’s expansion, The Lake House. Remedy has been delivering some of their best work with Alan Wake 2, and this expansion is expected to build on that eerie, atmospheric world. We’re calling it now: Alan Wake 2 could be heading to Game Pass soon. Remedy’s close relationship with Xbox makes this a strong possibility, and adding it to Game Pass would only boost the game’s reach.
Then there’s Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, which is bound to be one of the more unique trailers of the show. If the name alone doesn’t get you intrigued, the idea of Kiryu causing chaos in a tropical setting certainly will. We’re hoping to see some fun gameplay surprises, maybe even something entirely new to the series.
And finally, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, the dark-fantasy action game from 505 Games, is set to give us a deeper look at its boss battles. From what we’ve seen so far, this could be a treat for fans of difficult, atmospheric combat. We’re particularly interested in how they’ll expand on the game’s dark, intriguing world.
On top of these featured games, there’s also the promise of multiple world premieres. While Xbox is keeping those under wraps, it’s safe to say there will be some surprises in store—potentially even more Game Pass day-one additions.
The Partner Preview continues to be an important platform for Xbox’s global partners to showcase what’s coming next, and this time around looks no different. With new reveals and gameplay footage expected, it’s shaping up to be a solid event for anyone excited about what’s coming to Xbox and PC.
Make sure you’re tuned in on 17th October at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern / 6pm UK / 7pm CEST / 4am AEDT (October 18th). We’ll be watching closely and will have a full breakdown with all the reactions and analysis once it’s over. We’ll also be covering the fallout of the event right here on Complete Xbox, so stay tuned!
