Grinding Gear Games will be bringing a new expansion to the Xbox One version of Path of Exile next week, on the 16th December.
Dubbed Conquerors of the Atlas, the add-on brings a handful of new content such as a new endgame, new Atlas mechanics, five new endgame bosses, a new powerful class of support gem, new items, a vast upgrade to bows throughout the game, and the Metamorph Challenge League.
The Metamorph League is basically a Build-a-Boss workshop, where rewards are tied to the level of risk. Master Alchemist, Tane Octavius needs help acquiring various parts of monsters to help him create Metamorphs: shapeshifting monstrosities that have the abilities of the various creatures used to make them.
To celebrate the launch of the Metamorph League, Grinding Gear Games is teaming up with community streamer Zizaran to host a huge boss kill event, the Awakener Kill Event, featuring $30,000 in US cash prizes and other in-game rewards.
