Grab your goggles and get ready for the scrub-down of the century. Acclaim, Inc. and Valadria today launched Pixel Washer, the cozy, zen-like power-washing sim where players restore a grimy pixelated town to its former glory, into Steam Early Access for $12.99 USD.
“It’s hard to believe it now, but Pixel Washer began as a “shower thought”, hastily scribbled onto a waterproof notebook as a silly new game idea,” said Pixel Washer creator Matt Hackett. “I casually started writing the game from scratch, and over time it ballooned into a big project backed by the legendary label Acclaim! We’re not done yet, in fact we’ll be making loads of changes based on player feedback during Early Access. If that interests you, please check out the game, and help us make this the best little piggy game it can be. Wash on!”
To celebrate the game’s Early Access launch, Acclaim has released a new trailer narrated by legendary NBA Jam voice actor, Tim Kitzrow. Watch as Pigxel straps on his goggles and hoses his way through a variety of crud-caked locales, upping the pressure on mountains of muck with an arsenal of dirt-devouring power-washing attachments.
