Publisher QUByte Interactive and developer BlackHawk Games have announced that the deductive psychological horror game Beyond The Evil will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on October 29, 2026. Following its initial PC release, the Brazilian-developed thriller comes to console platforms just in time for Halloween.

Set in 2019, the game places players in the shoes of Gary Nephew, a private investigator responding to a panicked emergency call from an isolated Pennsylvania estate. Upon arrival, Nephew uncovers a tragic crime scene alongside evidence of clandestine laboratory research involving a lethal contagion.

Ditching traditional combat and inventory management entirely, Beyond The Evil relies on pure deduction, observation, and forensic investigation. Players must navigate the sinister property alongside partner Lukas Smith, interacting with hundreds of 3D objects, deciphering environmental codes, and cracking safes to solve the mystery of the missing Juniper family. The narrative culminates in a crucial choice-driven moral decision, leading players to two distinct story endings.
