In what may come as a surprise, Eurogamer have reported that Microsoft are at work on a new entry in to the Fable series.
The report states that Forza Horizon developer, Playground Games, are at the helm of the project and that Microsoft are backing it with a significant investment and a sizeable development team.
Fable was a series that many had suspected may never appear again after previous developers of the series, Lionhead Studios, was closed in 2016 which resulted in their current project at the time, Fable Legends, being scrapped.
It is reported the game, which will be an open world RPG, is in the very early development stages so we willnot see it in action anytime soon.
As a big fan of the Fable franchise, I am looking forward to seeing the official announcement when it comes.
