Indie developer Wispfire and narrative publisher Fellow Traveller have announced that their upcoming Cold War vampire spy RPG, Red Kiss, is officially coming to Xbox and Xbox Game Pass on Day One, joining its previously confirmed PC release on Steam.

The major platform reveal, dropped during the recent IGN x ID@XBOX showcase, expands the reach of the dark fantasy strategy title, giving console players immediate access to the shadowy underworld of 1989 Berlin.

Set against the backdrop of a deeply fractured, paranoid capital, Red Kiss places players in the center of a covert vampire ring. Stepping into the shoes of a newly turned vampire and recruited by a domineering figure known only as “Daddy,” players assume the role of an Augur.

Armed with the telepathic ability to communicate across the divide, players use an occult device called the Tabernacle to direct a colorful roster of eccentric vampire operatives on high-stakes espionage missions.

However, running a household of dangerous immortals is far from glamorous. According to the developers, the gameplay blends dispatch-style strategic management, visual novel storytelling, and light RPG mechanics. Players will have to:

  • Manage Resources: Carefully balance blood, energy, and operative assignments.

  • Navigate Relationships: Handle complex interpersonal dynamics, personal agendas, and forming blood bonds among messy spymates.

  • Survive Skill Checks: Make tough tactical decisions where desire, politics, and supernatural survival frequently collide.

While an exact launch date has yet to be finalised, Red Kiss is confirmed to land on Xbox consoles and Game Pass on Day One, alongside its PC release via Steam.
