The next instalment in the Star Wars Battlefront series has been revealed, which will include a singleplayer storyline following the Imperial special forces unit, Inferno Squad.

The solo story will have you play as Iden Versio, the commander of Inferno Squad, an elite unit who are deadly on the ground and in the air. You’ll also get to encounter a few well known faces in the franchise too throughout this mode.

Of course, 40-player multiplayer will also return, featuring characters from all 3 eras including Kylo Ren, Rey, Darth Maul,  Yoda and many more are promised. Each of which come with their own unique abilities you’ll be familiar with in the series.

You can also customise all your characters you play as, with a progression system in place allowing you to build a unique character to everyone else. If you check out the Star Wars Battlefront II website too there are some interesting images and details.

The full game comes out on November 17th to Xbox One. If you’re a member of EA Access, you’ll be able to start playing on November 9th.

Anyone who pre-orders the Standard Edition will get a whole range of rewards, including exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi-themed looks for Kylo Ren and Rey, an ability modifier that upgrades the Millennium Falcon, epic ability modifiers for Rey and Kylo Ren, and more. Players purchasing the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition receive upgraded versions of all Trooper classes, a A280-CFE blaster rifle† instant weapon unlock, an enhanced scope modification, and an epic ability modifier.
