Warner Bros. have revealed that Doctor Who will be coming to LEGO Dimensions.
During a reveal at San Diego Comic-Con, the publishers revealed that the cast of the current Doctor Who series will voice their in-game characters, including Peter Capaldi (The Doctor) and Jenna Coleman (Clara Oswald).
Just imagine the TARDIS popping up in the middle of Gotham City, with Homer Simpson causing havoc in Aperture Science. The title sounds bonkers so far, but kids are going to love the partnerships in-game.
Doctor Who will be playable in the starter pack, including an entire Doctor Who themed level tackling the Daleks and Cybermen.
There’s also a paid-for Doctor Who Level Pack, which includes an additional mission and a LEGO figurine of the 12th Doctor, the TARDIS and K-9. Fans will also find a nice surprise when the Doctor dies, as he regenerates back into the very first Doctor and works his way back through to the 12th.The inside of the TARDIS also changes based upon this.
There will also be a Doctor Who Fun Pack, which includes a playable Cyberman minifigure and Dalek model which can be physically built and then rebuilt twice for a total of three different objects.
LEGO Dimensions arrives on September 29th for Xbox One.
