Echtra Games has announced that Torchlight Frontiers has now become Torchlight III. The true sequel to the first two Torchlight games promises to take the series “back to its roots.”
It’s been centuries since the events of Torchlight II and the Ember Empire is in decline. In Torchlight III, Novastraia is again under threat of invasion and it’s up to you to defend against the Netherim and its allies.
Explore the wilderness, party with friends in online co-op, gather materials to craft loot, use magical maps to enter unknown dungeons, or show off your spoils in town! There’s always something to do in the new frontier.
Torchlight III will hit Xbox One later on during 2020, following the initial release of the game for PC. Check out the new Torchlight III announcement trailer below.
