Turn-based strategy game Phoenix Point will be coming to consoles during early 2020, XCOM creator Julian Gollop has confirmed via October’s development update.
The title from Snapshot Games will feature tactical play as you take on aliens. Select and plan missions from the Geoscape, which is also your home base where you can construct your headquarters, research new technology and discover points of interest/lore.
There are a variety of enemies presented in Phoenix Point, most of which will have a range of abilities, meaning every fight will require careful preparation before engaging. Outflank enemies with your team and use body targeting to disable specific body parts.
