Kasedo Games and Bulwark Studios have announced that Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II, will launch during Warhammer Skulls on May 21st, 2026 for Xbox Series X|S.
The launch date was revealed via the ongoing video series highlighting two deployable leaders, one each for the Adeptus Mechanicus and the Necrons, offering an in-depth look at their playstyles, abilities and strategic roles within the unfolding conflict. The latest video focuses on the returning Lector-Dogmatis Videx, the orthodox voice of the Omnissiah, and Obasis, the Necron Lord known as ‘The Shield’.
Building upon the distinctive turn-based gameplay and atmospheric storytelling of its predecessor, Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II plunges players back into the intense technological war of cold metal hatred.
Players will not only be battling as the Adeptus Mechanicus against the awakening of a Necron tomb world, but will also be able to fight as the Necrons for the resurgence of their dynasty, with both sides fully playable.
New environmental mechanics will also require players to manoeuvre their forces like never before and play to their chosen faction’s strengths and weaknesses – take cover behind terrain as the Mechanicus, or destroy it as the Necrons.
Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II will launch May 21st 2026 for Xbox Series X|S priced at $39.99/€39.99/£34.99.
