Koei Tecmo and Omega Force unveiled new details about the game’s challenging Infinity mode which will have players take on the Trial of Zeus.
The game will take a three-player party on an adventure as they attempt to clear the trials of the 12 towers, with dungeons representing each sign of the zodiac. Clearing each trial will reward gamers with experience points, unlock characters, and strengthen weapons through battle. The higher you get the tougher enemies will be.
The more you play as certain characters, either through Infinity mode or through the game’s main story, the more you’ll be able to rank up certain abilities; a character that reaches level 100 will return to level 1, enabling you to further strengthen them and expand their skill tree; this can be done 10 times!
Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate will also introduce Yang Jian’s special ability to deify in battle as up to now, deification could only be used by characters who are selected for eight special bracelets. But with this new entry in the 1 vs 1000 genre, Yang Jian can deify without using a bracelet by opening his eye on his forehead to unless a unique magic spell. Also Sacred Treasures can now be interchanged among characters whereas previously it was fixed for each character.
Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate will release on February 14th 2020. Pre-ordering the game will net players the exclusive ‘Dark Horse from the Underworld’ special mount. Also buying the game within the first 3 weeks of release rewards players with an additional ‘Gaia’ bonus costume for free.
