We’ve become familiar with the annual release window of Assassin’s Creed, but Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot has hinted that could end.
It is thought Ubisoft is working to revitalise the series, as there’s no full Assassin’s Creed game release this year.
Sources have said that the series will return in 2017, so is a year out enough time to rejuvenate? It’s also thought that the game will take place in Ancient Egypt.
Ubisoft is making “a strong push on multiplayer-centric games”, Guillemot said, with titles such as The Division and Rainbow Six Siege showcasing that exactly.
