Furious Bikers is an easy to pick up and play motorcycle arcade racing game. The game features 30 tracks across 6 different landscapes. Each races, you’ll be required to pick up some nitro boost for extra boosts and also coins. Coins can be used in a shop to either purchase new bikes or skins for said bikes.
Boosting is useful in order to try and catch up with other racers. You’ll need to pick up 6 nitrous bottles in order to be given a very brief speed increase. Otherwise, across each tracks will be small bluey patch which will also give you some boost when riding over it.
The game also channels slightly the classic Road Rash series where you can punch and kick the other riders. The triggers will give other nearby riders punches whereas the bumper buttons will kick. Left trigger and bumper will throw hands and kicks on your left and the right ones will throw hands/kicks on the right.
The game looks great for what it is; each area is bright and colorful with its own unique theme. But it also looks like a (Adobe) Flash game from back in the day. You can drive right through other riders; yet punches and kicks hits. The soundtrack is a boring generic score; clearly sounds like a stock soundtrack.
There’s nothing inherently wrong, but again there’s no replay value. Once you’ve cleared all the tracks, there’s no real incentives to replay it. There’s also a lack of challenge; this is clearly geared towards younger gamers who might have a interest of racing games after seeing mommy or daddy playing one.
Furious Bikers is a fun, albeit very straightforward, easy gaming experience. This is the type of game, that back in the day, you’d rent for two days, complete it, return it and then never think about it again. Great game for the younger players in the family and easy 1000Gs for Achievement hunters.
