Simulation publisher Aerosoft and developer Chronos North have officially unveiled Firefighters Code Red, a high-intensity firefighting simulation title heading to Xbox Series X|S.
The newly announced game drops players directly onto the front lines of emergency response across more than 30 North American-inspired mission locations, complete with full cross-platform co-op multiplayer.
Rather than scripted obstacles, Firefighters Code Red features dynamic fire behaviour. Flames spread realistically through environments, smoke obscures visibility, and heat builds over time to trigger life-threatening hazards like backdrafts, structural collapses, and chemical chain reactions.
To survive, players must read the scene and apply the correct techniques: using water on standard blazes, avoiding water on grease fires, and adapting quickly as safe escape routes suddenly burn away.
Featuring cross-platform squad play: Tackle missions solo or assemble a squad with cross-platform co-op multiplayer to split up entry, search-and-rescue, and hose operations.
You can also drive real-world fire engines and wield an array of genuine rescue tools, hoses, and extinguishers.
Whether forcing entry through locked doors, clearing smoke-filled halls, or steering authentic engines through city streets, Firefighters Code Red aims to deliver a high-stakes simulation built on teamwork, strategy, and rapid reaction.
Players interested in braving the flames can wishlist Firefighters Code Red today on the XBOX digital storefront ahead of its upcoming release.
