Insurgency: Sandstorm’s latest update, “Operation: Echoes” (Update 1.22), is now live across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Marking the conclusion of the tactical shooter’s Year 4 content roadmap, the update introduces new weaponry, map enhancements, and cosmetic sets.
As part of the free content update, all players gain access to two new submachine guns: the UM45 for Security forces and the classic MP40 for Insurgents. Beyond new firepower, Update 1.22 applies visual improvements to both the Power Plant and Hideout maps, alongside expanded character customization options that allow players to equip beards and moustaches.
Accompanying the free additions is a fresh line-up of premium cosmetics. Available through individual purchase or included for owners of the Year 4 Pass and 4-Year Anniversary Edition, the premium DLC includes:
