If you have recently unboxed a brand-new physical Xbox game and noticed something felt a little different, you aren’t imagining things. Iconic security sticker seals are beginning to vanish from recent Xbox releases, marking a quiet shift in how physical games are being packaged.
According to North American independent distributor VGP Video Games Plus, the disappearance of the security seal is part of a new “packing initiative” rather than a drop in supply chain security.

VGP has noticed that the packaging on some new Xbox releases no longer includes the sticker seal.
-Dragon’s Dogma 2
-Planet Zoo
-Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: RevivalJust a heads-up! This appears to be a new packaging initiative, as we’ve noticed it across three titles from different publishers.

Other users have been reported the same on recent game releases such as Valor Mortis. Have you noticed missing security seals on new titles in stores?
