Not the most interesting week in the gaming world by any means. Things continue to be consistently quiet for Nintendo since their Direct show the other week. Xbox has some little bits and bobs trickling through. PlayStation fans perhaps received the most as the State Of Play 40-minute showing divulged several upcoming titles in the coming months. Let’s take a look at what you may have missed.
Xbox
- Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family plan has been extended to six new countries. (Chile, Hungary, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden)
- Xbox Series X/S get a slight price increase in Sweden
- Microsoft & Xbox have signed a 10-year deal to bring Call Of Duty to Nintendo machines should the Activision deal go through
- Playground Games showed a new trailer for upcoming DLC for Forza Horizon 5 titled “Rally Adventure”, coming March 29th 2023
- Halo Infinite Season 3 launches on March 7th 2023
PlayStation
We saw the State of Play showing and to be honest it was mediocre when it came to anything new unless you’ve just invested in the new PSVR headset. Some notable news was the upcoming launch of Baldurs Gate 3 which appears to be skipping Xbox for the time being. There was also some extended footage of the new Suicide Squad game for those who are interested.
