Capcom are taking the helm again for the newly announced Devil May Cry 5. Everyone’s favourite demon slayer has his platinum blonde locks back and a brand new robot arm. He’s also got a new look but it’s nice to see him back.
Capcom are promising slick, exciting action with lots of flair and the trailer certainly looks like the game will deliver. We see Dante throwing himself out of a van and bouncing gracefully between flying cars. A bit of stylish combat ensues and we get our first look at his new cybernetics which looks to have come from Ninja Theory’s DmC.
Built on the same engine as Resident Evil 7, it looks gorgeous. It moves quickly and the animation is silky smooth. It also looks like the cast of DmC will be rejoining Dante.
After playing DmC and Bayonetta again recently, this was a nice surprise. No final release date was confirmed other than a vague Spring 2019.
