Defend the Rook is a roguelike strategy with tower defense elements that lets players test their tactical skills while defeating the invading hordes of enemies. Uniquely generated levels will propel players to use more than a simple tactic, offering various aids, like spells and traps. Careful placement of towers and upgrades will be necessary to ensure victory.
Defend the Rook is the fourth of five titles thus far agreed to be ported and published by Klabater from the portfolio of Goblinz Publishing. The official agreement with the French studio includes console porting and publishing of one more game, Terraformers – the date of which has yet to be announced.
Hitherto, Klabater was responsible for Xbox and PlayStation releases of applauded Legend of Keepers and As Far As The Eye, as well as released in March this year, Iris and the Giant.
